Latest design was a request for a 6" round chocolate mud cake (with dark chocolate ganache of course) with a bear for a baby shower.
I wanted to do something a little different with the bear, i.e., instead of having it sitting up like most designs I've seen. So I thought maybe can try a sleeping bear - for the practical reason that the entire cake will still fit into the cakebox. Now if you are a mother, or if you've seen mothers, they are often trying to make sure the baby is warm enough - hence the blanket. There are green and pink flowers which were inserted into the yellow icing sheet to make the floral baby blanket.
This was a fun design to do and my little girl said, "oh how cute!" when she saw it. It certainly helped to wake her up from her afternoon nap!
