As per the name, the cake is a mud cake made as mini cupcakes. Its citrus and white chocolate flavour. You won't taste the white chocolate as the citrus flavour comes out quite strongly, which is lovely, because the citrus taste cuts through the sweetness and the heaviness of the mudcake to help lighten the whole experience when you eat it. I love it that it is different to the traditional mud cake in the twist of the flavours involved.
Each mini cupcake is topped with a generous swirl of citrus flavoured whipped cream. I love this version of whipped cream - made up of cream cheese , cream, lime zest and juice, to give it a really delicious combination.
Great for parties or any sort of function. Keeps well overnight.
